Description	:	Henry Sanders, one of the old settlers of Seward county, died at his home in this city, on Thursday morning of last week, after an illness of several weeks, aged 61 years 2 months and 24 days. The deceased was born in Clark county, Indiana, and moved to Illinois later, where he resided until the fall of 1866, when he removed to Seward county, Nebraska, where he has since resided. Read More	Henry Sanders, one of the old settlers of Seward county, died at his home in this city, on Thursday morning of last week, after an illness of several weeks, aged 61 years 2 months and 24 days. The deceased was born in Clark county, Indiana, and moved to Illinois later, where he resided until the fall of 1866, when he removed to Seward county, Nebraska, where he has since resided. He enlisted in Co E 5th Illinois Cavalry, and went at the first call for troops and served to the end of the Civil War. He was married to Miss Mary Welch July 29, 1866 in Coles county, Illinos. There were five children born to this union, four of whom survive him, together with the widow. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters. His parents died when he was but eight years old. Funeral services were conducted from the U. B. church, of which the deceased was a member, on Saturday afternoon, Rev. A. G. McVey of York officiating, and Rev. Davis assisting.
