Description	:	Henry was born to Hinderk Eggels and Rikste (Caspars) Sinning. Henry married Fannie Bultena. 8 children were born to this union; Richard H., Nellie, Sena, Henry George, Baby Boy, Loert, Louise Henrietta and John Edward. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sinning came to Dakota Territory in 1884, settling on a farm near Lennox in Turner County. Mrs. Sinning, nee Francis Bultena, was born June 14, 1864 at Wymeer, Ostfriesland, Germany, and in the spring of 1877 came to the United States with her parents, one brother and a sister, settling in Grundy Center, IA., where she subsequently married. Eight children were born to this union, three of whom preceded her in death. Her husband died in 1916. She married Jacob Van Kekerix of Rock Valley, IA., in 1918, he also surviving at her death. She died January 1, 1924. The five surviving children were: Mrs. Thomas Bossman, Mrs. Andrew Scott, Henry Sinning, Louise Sinning, and John Sinning.
