Read More	Henry was the son of Henry Millenacker and Elizabeth Koensgen. He married Anna Huelshorst on July 26, 1904 in Arcadia, Iowa. They were the parents of Loretta, Clara, Mary, Laura, Walter, Leo, and Hilda. March 12, 1948 - Carroll Times - Henry J. Millenacker, 73, city councilman from the third ward, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home, 121 North Adams street, at 6:30 this morning. Mr. Millenacker had not been ill. He was stricken suddenly as he was getting ready to attend mass at SS. Peter and Paul's church. The body, now at the Olerich Funeral home, will be returned to the family home later. Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of two daughters, Clara and Laura, from San Diego, Calif. Mr. Millenacker, a retired farmer, had served on the city council since 1930, a span of 18 years. He was not a candidate for the office at the forth coming election. A native of Peru, Illinois, Mr. Millenacker had spent most of his life in Carroll county. He was born November 24, 1874, a son of Henry and Elizabeth Millenacker. As a small boy, he came to Audubon county, Iowa, with his parents in 1882. After living there a short time, the family moved to Templeton before locating on a farm one mile north and two miles west of Carroll. He was educated in Templeton. Mr. Millenacker was married to Anna J. Huelshorst July 26, 1904, at St. John's church Arcadia. The couple moved to Windthorst, Sask., Canada, where they pioneered for 13 years. The returned to Carroll from Canada when Mr. Millenacker retired. Since 1920 they have lived at the present home. Besides his wife, Mr. Millenacker leaves four daughters and one son: Mrs. J.L. Cochran (Loretta), Carroll; Clara, San Diego; Mary, at home; Laura, San Diego, and Walter, Carroll; three grandchildren and one sister, Anna Millenacker of Dubuque. Two children are deceased: Leo, who died December 7, 1930, and Hilda, January 7, 1932. Mr. Millinacker's twin brother, William, died at the age of 12 years, and a brother, Frank, September 7, 1942. His father died in January, 1916, and his mother in April, 1920. Mr. Millenacker was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul's church and the Holy Name society of the parish. He also belonged to Charles Carroll Council No. 780, Knights of Columbus.
