Description	:	Henry Jim Blair Jr., 71, of Winchester died Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Brattleboro Oct. 25, 1946, son of Henry and Elinor (Maxwell) Blair. He was a 1964 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School and went on to attend Coyne Electrical school in Boston. He enlisted in the Navy in 1965 and proudly served on the USS Manley until 1969. He completed two tours in Vietnam. Read More	Henry Jim Blair Jr., 71, of Winchester died Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018, in the comfort of his home. He was born in Brattleboro Oct. 25, 1946, son of Henry and Elinor (Maxwell) Blair. He was a 1964 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School and went on to attend Coyne Electrical school in Boston. He enlisted in the Navy in 1965 and proudly served on the USS Manley until 1969. He completed two tours in Vietnam. In 1983, he established Jim Blair Electric, retiring after more than 25 years due to illness. He was an active member of Winchester VFW Post 3968 and Minot-Rivers American Legion and a former member of the Winchester Kiwanis. He loved the outdoors, fast cars, traveling, attending the Manley reunions and especially his family. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; and his mother, Elinor Blair of Keene; his daughter, Kristen and Abram Howe; his grandson, Kyle McMahon all of Winchester; his sister, Linda Ward and her husband, David, of Antrim; step-children, Jeremiah Garland and his wife, Doris, Jessica Leclaire and her husband, Ron; step-grandchildren, Sebastian, Jonas, and Sophia Garland and Addison Leclaire, all of Swanzey; and three nieces and their families. He was predeceased by his father, Henry. Calling hours are Sunday, April 22, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Kidder Funeral Home in Northfield, Mass. There will be a procession on Monday, April 23, at 2 p.m. from the funeral home to Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester. Following the graveside services, there will be a reception at the Winchester VFW, on Main Street.
