Description	:	The Sterling Sun Thursday, March 30, 1944 Our deceased brother Henry K. Buss was born on October 20, 1857 in Bockzetelerfehn, Ostfriesland, Germany. On November 1, 1857 he was received into the grace of God by the rite of Holy Baptism. On February 20, 1876 after having been duly instructed in the rudiments of the Christian faith and knowledge, he publicly confessed his Savior in the rite of confirmation. Read More	The Sterling Sun Thursday, March 30, 1944 Our deceased brother Henry K. Buss was born on October 20, 1857 in Bockzetelerfehn, Ostfriesland, Germany. On November 1, 1857 he was received into the grace of God by the rite of Holy Baptism. On February 20, 1876 after having been duly instructed in the rudiments of the Christian faith and knowledge, he publicly confessed his Savior in the rite of confirmation. In 1884 he immigrated to America, coming to the State of Nebraska, where he worked on a farm northwest of Sterling, and her he also a short time later bought a farm, where he lived until last winter when the house burned down and he then made his home with one of his children south of Adams. On July 31, 1885 he married to Miss Geeska Wichmann. To this union six children were born of whom only one is still living, John of Adams, Nebraska. His wife died on April 14, 1895. On February 10, 1896 he married again. This time to Miss Elizabeth Hafermann of Sterling, Nebraska. To this union eight children were born, of whom one is no longer living. His second wife preceded him in death about two years ago. After a lingering illness Mr. Buss was finally called to his eternal home on March 20, 1944. He leaves to mourn his departure 6 sons and two daughters: John, Krene and Henry Buss of Adams, Nebr., Herman Buss, Pickrell, Nebr., George Buss, Sterling, Nebr., Wilhelm Buss, serving in the U.S.Army, stationed at Seymour, Indiana: Mrs. Anna Murphy, Renton, Washington, Miss Frieda Buss, also serving in the U.S. Army stationed at Santa Ana, Calif. and 23 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister in Germany.
