Description	:	Henry Longbine Passes Away at Home of Son Henry Longbine, at the age of 76 years, five months and 27 days, passed away Tuesday at the home of his son, Charles Longbine, southwest of Creighton. Death was attributed to bladder trouble. Deceased was born in Mendota, Ill. May 3, 1855 and died September 29, 1931. He came to Nebraska fifty years ago, locating near Shickley, in Fillmore county. Read More	Henry Longbine Passes Away at Home of Son Henry Longbine, at the age of 76 years, five months and 27 days, passed away Tuesday at the home of his son, Charles Longbine, southwest of Creighton. Death was attributed to bladder trouble. Deceased was born in Mendota, Ill. May 3, 1855 and died September 29, 1931. He came to Nebraska fifty years ago, locating near Shickley, in Fillmore county. Later he moved to Kansas, residing at Abilene for 23 years. From Kansas he came to Antelope county, Nebraska, where he maintained his residence until the time of his death. In 1875 he was united in marriage to Katherine Leutzel. The couple was blessed with nine children, seven boys and two girls. Mrs. Longbine and four children preceded him in death. The five surviving children are Henry of Crocker, Mo., Charles of Creighton, John of Creighton, Mrs. Frank Tyler of Page and Mrs. Harry Lambert of Orchard. Since the passing of his wife, four years ago, he has made his home with his son, Charles, seven miles southwest of Creighton. Mr. Longbine was a man of good character and his passing will be mourned by a large number of friends and acquaintances. As a boy he was confirmed in the German Lutheran church, but here he had attended the Methodist church. He farmed in the community, principally in Antelope county for a score of years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Charles Longbine home with the Rev. Wm E. Wilson of the Creighton Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery here beside the body of his wife. The News joins with friends in offering sincerest condolences to those who mourn.
