Mr. Holterman was born Jan 11, 1915 in Osage Co. to Ben and Mary Hoffman Holterman. He was married Jul 2, 1960 to the former Rosemary Rotter, who survives at the home. A member of Holy Family parish, he worked at Wieberg Charcoal and Quaker Window Products Co., both at Freeburg and also was a woodcutter and farmer, retiring in 1985. Other survivors include four sons, Richard Hertzing of Taos, Terry Hertzing of Vienna, and Bruce Holterman and Troy Holterman, both of Freeburg; nine daughters, Mary Wallace of Centralia, Tammy Crane of Dixon, Kimberly Sweet of Little Rock, Ark., Gloria Sweet of Rolla, and Tina Holterman, Stacy Holterman, Virginia Sweet, Debbie White and Lisa Wieberg, all of Freeburg; two sisters, Elizabeth Talken and Katie Hertzing, both of Freeburg.
