Description	:	Henry "Hank" Ludens, 84, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center, where he had been a resident for three days. Henry R. Ludens was born on August 18, 1926 at White South Dakota, the son of Henry and Rose (Franken) Ludens. He moved to Lennox with his family where he received his education. Read More	Henry "Hank" Ludens, 84, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center, where he had been a resident for three days. Henry R. Ludens was born on August 18, 1926 at White South Dakota, the son of Henry and Rose (Franken) Ludens. He moved to Lennox with his family where he received his education. He served in the US Army during World War II. On August 8, 1950 he was united in marriage to Joanne Uhe at Luverne, Minnesota. Following their marriage they lived in Wisconsin, Iowa and Highmore before moving to the Lennox area. "Hank" was an electrician for many years and was a member of Local #426 Electrical Union for 49 years. His wife, Joanne, died on August 13, 1990. "Hank" continued to make his home in Lennox. He was a member of Lennox Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Besides his parents and wife, Joanne, Henry was preceded in death by four brothers: Albert, Melvin, Charles and Matthew Ludens; two sisters: Grace Andersen and Cornelia Brink. Grateful for having shared his life are his children and their spouses: Douglas and Elizabeth Ludens of Scottsdale, Arizona and Barbara and Frank Jacobson of Lennox; three granddaughters: Andrea Jacobson, Denver, CO, Jill (Justin) Carlson, Lennox and Sr. Mary Bethel Ludens, Bronx, NY; two great-grandchildren: Jacob and Lucy Carlson; one brother: Lowell Ludens of Roshelle, Illinois; one sister: Rosetta (Percy) Willer of Gilman, Iowa; a sister-in-law: Mae Ludens of Rochelle, Illinois; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will begin 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Dindot-Klusmann Chapel with burial to follow at the Lennox Cemetery.
