Henry served on the school board and the township board for many years and also worked with the ASCS, and was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge No. 8 at Pishelville for over 60 years, serving for 45 years as secretary and treasurer of District No. 7, a tenure of office ended only by death. The couple would have celebrated their 63rd anniversary two days after his death. Marion died in 1998. Henry and Marion Ruzicka had four children: Marcella, Violet, Glen, and Clifford.
