Read More	"Orland Unit" (Orland, California), Thursday, 5 February 1953, Page 1, Column 5 Henry Sievers Rites Are Held at Artois Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in Willows for Henry Sievers, longtime Artois resident, who died Sunday night in Glenn General Hospital. Burial was in the Artois cemetery. The Rev. C. A. Pickelman, pastor of the Lutheran church at Artois, officiated at both services. Sievers, who was born in Holstein, Germany, Sept. 14, 1862, came to this country at an early age, and had lived in the Artois section for 83 years. He farmed there until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church. Surviving him is his sister, Mrs. Mary Holtorf of Artois, and two nephews, Leland Holtorf of Artois and Arthur Holtorf of Mt. Shasta City.
