Description	:	Mr. Henry Sneller passed away Thursday afternoon at the age of 73 years, two months and one day. On August 15, 1903 he was united in marriage to Dena Koerselman, who preceded him in death on April 25, 1942. Read More	Mr. Henry Sneller passed away Thursday afternoon at the age of 73 years, two months and one day. To this union were born five sons and six daughters; Edward of Doon, Mrs. (Dena) Neal Van Roekel of Sioux Center, Gerrit of Orange City, Henry of Sioux Center, Mrs. (Jennie) Orin Franke of Ireton, Mrs. (Bertha) W.F. Cleveringa of Sioux Center, Mrs. (Gertrude) John Statema of Hull, Mrs. (Grace) James De Boer and William both of Maurice, Agnes of Algona and Raymond of Milan, Minn. One daughter died in infancy. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. On January 26, 1951 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Jane Wolfswinkle, who also survives. He is also survived by two brothers; Andrew and John and two sisters; Mrs. Arie Bartman and Mrs. Henry Zwiers. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him, Richard and William and Mrs. Harry Vander Sloote and Mrs. Peter Bartman. Mr. Sneller was an active member of First Reformed church and had served on the Consistory for a number of years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 10the at the home at 1:00 and 1:30 at the First Reformed Church, Rev. P.A. De Jong, officiating. Pallbearers were Henry Sneller, William Sneller, Harold Sneller, Gerald Van Roekel, Donald Wolfswinkle, Louis Sneller. Burial was in the Sioux Center cemetery. Arrangements were by Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home of Sioux Center Sioux Center News 1954-05-13.
