Read More	Death Come to Henry Stuve After A Brief Illness Friends were saddened to learn of the death of Henry Stuve, which occurred at his home on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, following a brief illness. His passing was due to leakage of the heart, which was thought to have been brought on, after becoming overheated the previous Wednesday at the cemetery, while cleaning weeds from the grave of his departed wife. His illness, however, did not reach a critical stage until the following day, when he was confined to bed. The deceased was born in Newerkrichen, Fra Hanover, Germany on April 22, 1866. He cam to America in 1882 and worked as a blacksmith in Napoleon, Ohio. From there he came to Sterling, Nebraska and remained for several years. In the year 1893 Mr. Stuve located at Creighton, Nebraska and resided on a farm west of town. In September of the same year, he was united in wedlock to Sarah Ehrenberg here. To this happy union, three sons, Herman of Wayne, Fred of Rogers and Ernest of Creighton were born. His total age was 76 years, 2 months and 25 days. Mr. Stuve was a devout member of Zion Lutheran church and in his passing the congregation loses a zealous worker. Genial and well liked, he will be missed by many. He merited the respect and esteem in which he was held. Besides the three sons, he leaves to mourn 6 grandchildren and a number of other relatives. The last rites were held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of his son, Ernest Stuve, to the Zion Lutheran church. Rev. A.C. Huth, church pastor officiated. The body was taken to its last resting place in Greenwood cemetery and interred beside his wife, who preceded him to the other world. The church was filled to capacity with friends, who had come to honor the memory of this esteemed man. Six nephew, Fred Wulff, George and Elmer Ehrenberg, Clarence Hansen, Ray Hansen and Maurice Ehrenberg served as pallbearers. Out of town relatives here for the rites were Mrs. Longacre and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schultz of Rogers, Nebr., Mrs. C.W. Stuve of Sterling and Otto Stuve of Lincoln.
