Description	:	Funeral services for Henry Vance Sheppard Sr., 62, well-known resident of the Laurens Road, will be held at 11 am tomorrow at the Jones Mortuary. The services will be conducted by Rev. Benjamin Sorgee and interment will be in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers, Leo Batson, Walter Williams, H. Grady Bridges, M.A. Meadors, P.D. For a number of years, he made his home in Simpsonville and during the past four years has operated a store on Laurens Road. Mr. Sheppard was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hester Hall Sheppard; five daughters, Mrs. Mabel Ruckman, Mrs. Nellie Duncan, Mrs. Clara Eldridge, Miss. Florence Sheppard and Miss. Virginia Sheppard; two sons, Manly Sheppard and Vance Sheppard Jr.; one brother, John Sheppard and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Vaughn. Because of the illness of Mrs. Sheppard who is in Washington, Mrs. Ruckman, Mrs. Eldridge and Miss. Florence Sheppard will be unable to attend the funeral.
