Description	:	Obituary Mr. Henry Vermeer Sr., a seventy-nine year old pioneer died late Monday at his home in Sioux Center. Mr. Vermeer was born in the Netherlands. With his family he immigrated to the U.S. in 1867, settling in Wisconsin. Five years later, when the Hollanders began a settlement in Sioux County, the Vermeer family started west with wagon and horses and settled on a farm near Sioux Center.
