| Description | : | Son of Alonzo Nelson and Sallie Sterling Obituary Lawsonia.—Mr. Whittington Nelson, one of Lawsonia's oldest and highly respected citizens died at the home of his son, Mr. John H. [sic] Nelson, last Monday evening, after a lingering illness. He was 78 years of age. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. W. F. Corkran, and interment was in the Nelson family cemetery. Mr. Nelson is survived by one son, Mr. John H. Nelson [sic], and a sister, Mrs. Clara Parsons [sic] of Wilmington, Del., and three brothers, Messrs.
