Read More	Body of Second Man Recovered Coast Guard Finds Herbert Van Horn in 20 Feet of Water at Black Lake The body of Herbert Van Horn, 36, of Route 4, Lima, was the second of a fishing party of three to be found in Black Lake, near Cheboygan, Mich. Van Horn's body was brought to the surface of the lake about 8:30 p.m. Saturday by U.S. Coast Guardsmen who have been searching for the bodies of the three Lima fishermen since Thursday. The steel boat in which the trio was fishing as a sudden squall struck about 9 p.m. last Tuesday, also was found by the coast-guardsmen Saturday evening. It apparently had capsized when it was turned sideways in an effort by the men to go back to land, observers said. The body of Virgil Turner, 38, of 1036 W. Wayne-st was the first found, on Friday. Frank Buchanan, 36, of 1332 W. Elm-st was a third passenger in the boat on the ill-fated fishing trip. His body has not been found but the coast-guardsmen are continuing operations thru Sunday and until it is recovered, they announced. Turner's body was returned to Lima Saturday and funeral rites will be conducted at the Davis-Miller and Son funeral chapel Monday at 10 a.m. Rev. Charles Zunkle, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, will be in charge. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Six coast-guardsmen under the direction of James M. Buford, machinist's mate, first class, commander of the U.S. Coast Guard station at Hammond Bay, east of Cheboygan on Lake Huron, have been dragging the lake. Turner's body, it was reported, was brought up when hooks on a drag line caught in his jacket and trousers. He was in water about 20 feet deep and at a point about a mile and a half from the camp, a half mile from shore. He was identified by papers in the pockets of his clothing. Both of the other men wore rubber boots, it was reported. Van Horn's body was found near where Turner's was brought up. The Davis-Miller ambulance left late Saturday night for Cheboygan to bring back Van Horn's body. Turner was associated with the Turner Implement Co., Buchanan with The Lima Ledger and Printing Co. and Van Horn was employed at Westinghouse. They had been accompanied on the trip by their families and Fred Stover and family, also of Lima. Stover did not go on the fishing trip which ended in tragedy. Van Horn was born in Selma, Ind., and was an inspector at the Westinghouse. Surviving are his wife, Candace and two sons, Frank and Richard, and three brothers, William, St. Elmo, Ill.; Leon, Libson, O., and Howard, Sioux Falls, S.D. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Davis, Miller and Son chapel, where the body will remain, with Rev. R. I. Hemminger officiating.
