Description	:	Herbert Wilson Colglazier 89, of Campbellsburg, IN died Wednesday, July 18th at St. Vincent's Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was a native of Salem and a 1936 graduate of Salem High School. A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, he served aboard the battleship USS Washington in the North Atlantic and South Pacific. He was a life member of the Campbellsburg American Legion Post #195 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Read More	Herbert Wilson Colglazier 89, of Campbellsburg, IN died Wednesday, July 18th at St. Vincent's Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was a native of Salem and a 1936 graduate of Salem High School. A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, he served aboard the battleship USS Washington in the North Atlantic and South Pacific. He was a life member of the Campbellsburg American Legion Post #195 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a construction foreman for Alvin Colglazier and was a member of the Smedley Church of Christ and a former member of the ASCS Board, Farm Bureau Board of Directors, Campbellsburg Betterment Committee, Cavetown Board of Directors and Scoutmaster of Troop #34 in Campbellsburg. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, the former Esther Green, three sons, Dan Colglazier of Springville, IN, Lee Colglazier of Campbellsburg and Robin Colglazier of Dixon, IL; a sister, Faye Short of Salem; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held Saturday, July 21 at Dawalt Funeral Home in Salem with burial following with full military honors in Cavetown Cemetery near Campbellsburg.
