Description	:	Herman H. Benne Dies At His Home Tuesday Herman H. Benne, 81, long time resident of this community, died at his home here Tuesday. Funeral services will be held for him Friday at one-thirty from the Conley Mortuary and at two o'clock from the Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. W.A. Klink officiating. Burial will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery. The deceased was born in St. Charles, Mo. to Mr. and Mrs. John Benne on April 26, 1860. Burial will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery. The deceased was born in St. Charles, Mo. to Mr. and Mrs. John Benne on April 26, 1860. Had he lived a few weeks until that date, he would have been 82 years old, He came to Nebraska in 1884 and on Mar 12, 1885 he was married to Miss Meta Kemper. They established their home at Monterey and later moved to a Cuming County farm north east of town. Nineteen years ago, he retired from active farming and moved into town to a residence on north Main street. Mrs. Benne preceded him in death on January 28, 1927. Surviving Mr. Benne are 14 children, 41 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The children are John; Fred; Mamie, Mrs. Alfred Pagels; Dora, Mrs. Wm. Fillmer; Lucy, Mrs. Paul Poledna; Edward; Elmer; Lawrence; Ralph; Lottie, Mrs. Irvin Pagels; Leora, Mrs. William Watterman of Orchard; Harvey; Herman; and Leroy. Those from out-of-town attending the Herman H. Benne funeral included Mr. and Mrs. William Watterman and family of Orchard; Mr. and Mrs. Theo Kemper and son of Page; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fillmer of Norfolk; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Poledna and daughters of Wayne, Misses Emilia, Louise, and Ida Kemper of Wisner, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sherlock; Mr. and Mrs. Will Hoehne, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Benne and Mrs. Leora Benne, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kemper and Mr. and Mrs. E.
