Born in Maplewood, he was a son of the late Allie and Effie Iyoupe. Most of his working years were in "Herman's Irving" in Beechville. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Stevens; their children, Ellen (Eric) St. George, Lakeside; Allen (Shelly) Iyoupe, Blockhouse; Steven (Kim) Iyoupe, Lakeside; grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, and Matthew. He is also survived by his former wife, Laura Vincent, Eastern Passage; their children, Hermaine Regan, Eastern Passage; Robert (Sherry), Cole Harbour; Stanley (Anna), Timberlea; Winnifred (Bob) Hobson, Eastern Passage; his extended family, Donnie (Arlene) Vincent, Minesville; Donna (Barry) Harriettha, Lawrencetown; grandchildren, Kenneth (Ella) Regan, Kelly (Mark) Howe, Tina Rodger, Paul (Jessica) Iyoupe, Shawn Iyoupe, Robbie Iyoupe, Kyle Iyoupe, Krista, Jillian, and Nicky Hobson; great-grandchildren Ashley, Kale, Christopher, Melissa, Edouard, and Bethany; brothers, Phayod, New Cornwall; Saide, halifax. He was predeceased by his infant son, Paul; sisters, Kaye and Beatrice; brother, Bud. A family graveside and committal service will be held 2 p.m. today in New Cornwall Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Cornwall, Rev. Robert Rock and Rev. Richard Bieber officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society through Dana L.
