The body is resting at the Sharp Funeral Home until 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, when it will be returned to the family residence to repose until the time of the funeral services. Rites are to be at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at the St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. A.J. Poeckes offering the requiem mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mr. Stallman, known to his friends as "Kelly," had been in the automobile business from 1915 until his retirement last fall. During the larger part of that time he was associated with Charles J. Loxterkamp of Carroll. March 1, 1915, they opened a hardware and automobile concern at Templeton. Disposing of the hardware business in 1920, they moved to Dedham, where they continued as partners in the automobile business until 1928, when they came to Carroll. They operated a garage here until Jan. 1, 1937, when Mr. Stallman bought out Mr. Loxterkamp's interests and became sole owner of the business, which he conducted under the name of the Stallman Motor Company until last November, when he sold out to Mike Wittrock because of his declining health. July 16, 1941 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for H.K. Stallman, who died Sunday morning after a long illness, were conducted at 9 o'clock this morning at the St. Lawrence church. The requiem mass was offered by the pastor, the Rev. A.J. Poeckes. Mr. Stallman, a World War veteran and member of Maurice Dunn Post No, 7, American Legion, was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery with military honors. There was a military escort in charge of Glenn N. Weeks. After volleys had been fired, taps were sounded by J. Howard Hodges. Legionnaires attended the services in a body. Pallbearers were Walter Strait of Clare, R.M. Moehn, F.A. Metz, C.J. Loxterkamp, Carl J. Hess, and Frank Buchheit. Many out-of-town relatives and friends attended the rites, those from a distance including Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Scharnweber and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stallman, Mitchell, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stallman, Ashton; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Jelsma, Pella; Mrs. Henry Stallman, Oskaloosa; Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Stallman, Minneapolis; John Wittrock, Okarche, Okla.; Joe Stallman, Harrison, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stallman, Granville, Iowa; Mrs. Jonnie Herbers Stuart Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Chet Housh and Mr. and Mrs. Edward English, Sioux City.
