Services were at First Reformed Church in Ireton on Monday, the Rev. Steven Bakker officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens in Sioux Center. The couple farmed near Ireton. When he died July 25, 1941, and she moved into Ireton in 1946, working as a cook for serveral years at the Ireton Public Schools. She married Hermanus Ten Napel in 1953, at Edgerton, Minnesota. The couple lived at Ireton. He died May 9, 1961. She moved to the nursing wing of the Sioux Center hospital in 1983. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Ireton. Survivors are a son, John, of Ireton; two step-sons, Harm and Marion Ten Napel, both of Sioux Center; three step-daughters, Nellie Heusinkveld of Gresham, Oregon, and Ada Barents and Frances Mulder, both of Ireton; five grandchildren; 26 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 53 step-great-grandchildren, eight greatgreat- grandchildren and eight stepgreat- great-grandchildren.
