He was married to Dorothy Connors of Bruning on December 27, 1945 and they had three children, Jerry Lee, Regina Rae and Randy Glenn. He is survived by his wife, children, parents, and a brother, Clifford of Bruning; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Waterman of Ohiowa; Mrs. Wayne Garrison of Geneva and Mrs. Glen Hawkins of Hebron. He is survived by his wife, children, parents, and a brother, Clifford of Bruning; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Waterman of Ohiowa; Mrs. Wayne Garrison of Geneva and Mrs. Glen Hawkins of Hebron. He was preceded in death by brothers, Willard Lee and Gust Henry and sister, Donna Mae. The first four years of their married life were spent on a farm near Bruning, then they purchased a farm of their own northeast of Hebron. Homer was baptized in the Lutheran faith on May 3, 1925, and was confirmed on Sept. 3, 1939 at St. John's Lutheran Church south of Ohiowa, Nebr. On November 22, 1953 both Mr. and Mrs. Dittmer united with the First Methodist Church in Hebron, and have continued to be faithful members.
