He was born at North River and was the son of the late James Robar and Annie Woodworth Robar. His wife predeceased him 22 months ago. He is survived by two daughters, Ada, Mrs. Arthur Robar and Verna, Mrs. Doulgas Robar; three sons, Alvin, Maurice of North rRver and Oscar at New Germany; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There are also two sisters, Annie, Mrs. William Biggs, Grand Pre and Lydia, Mrs. Currie Acker, Springfield. The funeral was held on Tuesday, May 15. Services at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member, were conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.L. Myra. Hymns sung were "My God and Father While I Stray," "O God, Our Help in Ages Past," And " Father, Whate'er of Earthly Bliss." Pall bearers were Fred Daniels, Cornelius Daniels, Clifford Daniels, and Leander Robar. Interment was at the new cemetery at New Germany. (written on obit - 1951) Rosemary Rafuse
