Description	:	Mr. Hubert G. Smith, 92, of Panama City, Fla., went home to be with his Lord, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005. He has been a resident of the area since 1945, coming here from Graceville, Fla. He was born in Geneva County, Ala., the eldest of five children, all who have gone to be with the Lord. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Bonnie B. Smith; his... Read More	Mr. Hubert G. Smith, 92, of Panama City, Fla., went home to be with his Lord, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005. He has been a resident of the area since 1945, coming here from Graceville, Fla. He was born in Geneva County, Ala., the eldest of five children, all who have gone to be with the Lord. Mr. Smith retired from International Paper Company in 1975 and was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class at First Assembly of God of Panama City. He loved God, his family and gardening. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Bonnie B. Smith; his two daughters, Mary Joyce Andrews and her husband, Charles, and Sara E. Spaulding, all of Panama City; six grandchildren, Mary Ellen Andrews-Kraska and her husband, Wayne, of Roswell, Ga., Charles R. Andrews II of Montana, Diana Grimes and her husband, Jeffrey, Robert Anthony "Tony" Spaulding and his wife, Ann, Richard Gary "Rick" Spaulding and John Brian "Jack" Spaulding and his wife, Suvi, all of the Dallas, Texas, area; nine great-grandchildren, Clinton, Chase, Bradley, Nicole, Ryan, Alexander, Eric, Kirtlan and Carlie; and a special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Smith-Fenyody and her husband, Andy. Mr. Smith will be greatly missed by his family, church family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at First Assembly of God Church of Panama City with Pastor Hilton Foster and Pastor Phil Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Damascus Cemetery in Graceville. Mr. Smith's grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, Feb. 12, 2005, from 6 until 8 p.m. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Panama City, Fla. 32405 2403 Harrison Ave. 763-4694
