Description	:	OBIT: Hugh B. Morgan, 68, of 515 E. Cherry Lane, Ellensburg, died Thursday morning at his home, following a lingering illness. He was born at Edwall on March 23, 1916, a son of the late Joe and Mabel Morgan. Mr. Morgan served seven years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Lexington, and the Kuerney. He received a medical discharge after being injured when his ship was torpedoed. He and Rosetta Dorsey were married in Ellensburg, November 28, 1943. Mr. Morgan served seven years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Lexington, and the Kuerney. He received a medical discharge after being injured when his ship was torpedoed. He and Rosetta Dorsey were married in Ellensburg, November 28, 1943. Mr. Morgan owned and operated both U-Tote-Ems until 1966. He then built the Shady Brook Trailer Court, and retired from that business eight years ago. He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Rosetta, of Ellensburg; four daughters, Kay Starnes of Yakima, JoAnne Worgum of Lacey, Dixie Adams of Lacey and Jackie Rossow of Ellensburg; one brother, Maurice Morgan of Yakima; one sister, Betty Peterson of Ellensburg; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Morgan. Rosary will be 6:30 p.m., Friday at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m, Saturday, also at St. Andrews. The Rev. John Murtagh will officiate, and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances by contributions to the St. Andrews Building Bund, or the American Cancer Society, care of Mr. H. E. Railsback, 2020 S. Matthews Road.
