Description	:	Hugh W. Wygle, 89, formerly of Keokuk, now of Downers Grove, Illinois, died Friday, January 23, 2015, at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois. Hugh was born November 5, 1925, in Keokuk, Iowa, a son of Leonard and Olivia Eschbach Wygle. On May 31,1948, he was united in marriage to Patricia Grice in Keokuk. He graduated from Keokuk High School in 1943 and he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Wygle, 89, formerly of Keokuk, now of Downers Grove, Illinois, died Friday, January 23, 2015, at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, Illinois. Hugh was born November 5, 1925, in Keokuk, Iowa, a son of Leonard and Olivia Eschbach Wygle. On May 31,1948, he was united in marriage to Patricia Grice in Keokuk. He graduated from Keokuk High School in 1943 and he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Following his military service, he attended and graduated from University of Iowa, majoring in Business. He lived in Keokuk and in 1969 he moved to the Chicago area. He was employed in management for Nash Brothers and then Hendricks Truck Company. While living in Keokuk he attended St. Peters Catholic Church and then attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. He was a NASCAR fan. He is survived by two sons, James (Andrea) Wygle of East Peoria, Illinois, and John Wygle of Downers Grove, Illinois He was the last of his family and was preceded by his parents; his wife Patricia on March 5, 1999; a sister Shirley Skerik and a brother Richard Wygle. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Sandusky Cemetery north of Keokuk, with Deacon William Cosgrove officiating. Family and friends will meet at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau at 10:00 and then proceed to the cemetery. No visitation will be held
