Interment was in the St Peter Cemetery at Eldorado with Gene Gulsvig, Ronald Lauer, Terry Lauer, David Lauer, Randy Lauer and Larry Lauer as pallbearers. Hulda (Trapp) Lauer, daughter of Peter and Gertrude (Grafenberg) Trapp was born July 27 ,1896 in Winneshirk Co near Eldorado. She attended rural schools. On Nove 19,1914 Hulda was united in marriage to Peter Lauer at Eldorado and to them were born four children. They farmed in Eldorado until 1954 when they moved to West Union. she was a member of the St Olaf Lutheran church and St Olaf Ladies Aid. She died at maple Crest Manor in Fayette,IA on July 12,1986 at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 15 days. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, her parents, her son, Ralph, two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are two sons Clair, Cedar Rapids, and Leslie, Eldorado, one daughter Mrs Arlene Granby, amber Lea MN and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
