Surviving are her husband, Thomas Henry Groves; fur sons, Lloyd E. Smith and Burton W. Smith of Denver, Colo.; Harold W. Smith, of Venice, Calif., and Charles F. Smith of Lincoln; three stepsons, James R. Groves, Lincoln; Virgil R Groves and Milton R. Groves, both of Wentford, S.D.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Blanche Mae Schadles of Kansas City, Kas.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Dillon, of Lincoln, and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Groves was born April 5, 1874, near Adams, Neb., and came to Lincoln over 30 years ago. She attended Elm Park Methodist Church.
