Description	:	HOLDEN, IDA M.—Ida M. Holden was born October 16, 1870, near Thomasboro, Ill. She was the third child of William and Maria Earhart Heller. She was married to Harry Holden, November 7, 1897, at the home of her parents near Geneva. The Holden’s lived at Rock Falls, Ill., and at Chicago before moving to Geneva more than 45 years ago. Read More	HOLDEN, IDA M.—Ida M. Holden was born October 16, 1870, near Thomasboro, Ill. She was the third child of William and Maria Earhart Heller. She was married to Harry Holden, November 7, 1897, at the home of her parents near Geneva. The Holden’s lived at Rock Falls, Ill., and at Chicago before moving to Geneva more than 45 years ago. Mr. Holden passed away June 11, 1932. Mrs. Holden was a member of the Methodist church and the Merry Mixers Kensington of Geneva. She was active in the ladies’ society and church school many years. About three years ago, failing health necessitated her entering the Moore Nursing Home at Fairmont, where she passed away early Friday, February 6, 1959, at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 20 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and by two older brothers, William and Enos, and by a step-sister, Mrs. Clara Nicewander. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Minnie Warner, and by a brother, Harry Heller. Ten nephews and nieces also survive her. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Alden B. Sears, pastor of the Geneva Methodist church at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home Sunday, February 8, at 3 p. m. Pallbearers were nephews Frank Heller, John Voigt, James Voigt, Don Beavers, Max Beavers and Lyman Nicewander. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal February 12th, 1959 page 9.
