Read More	Obituary From "Ottumwa Daily Courier," Monday, January 17, 1949, Page 13: Mrs. Ida Mae Landen, 77, a resident of Ottumwa for 58 years, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at the Grinstead nursing home, 118 North Jefferson street. The daughter of Jim and Martha Huffman, she as born in Peoria county, Illinois, January 20, 1871. She was a member of the Finley Avenue Baptist church and of the Enterprise Rebekah lodge, No. 132. She was married to William E. Landen September 29, 1892. He preceded her in death August 17, 1946. Surviving are a son, James H. Landen, Ottumwa; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Broad, Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Leona Walls, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Maude Knecht, Kodiak, Alaska, and six grandchildren. Besides her husband, she as preceded in death by a daughter, Minnie, and by a sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. V.L. Currier of Finley Avenue Baptist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harvey Landen, Ray Landen, Grover Evans, Harold McKelvey, Harold Rice and Pearl Ludwick.
