Description	:	Ida Mae Taylor passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Ohio Health Hospital Mansfield surrounded by her family. She was 72. Ida was born on March 18, 1948, to parents Tarence & Vivian (McGuire) Taylor in Ashland, Ohio. Ida was a very simple person. She was very passionate about participating in the Special Olympics and going to work every day. She participated in the Special Olympics from the1980’s up until a few years ago. Read More	Ida Mae Taylor passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Ohio Health Hospital Mansfield surrounded by her family. She was 72. Ida was born on March 18, 1948, to parents Tarence & Vivian (McGuire) Taylor in Ashland, Ohio. Ida was a very simple person. She was very passionate about participating in the Special Olympics and going to work every day. She participated in the Special Olympics from the1980’s up until a few years ago. She loved all events she participated in but most particularly Bowling and Bocce Ball. She also loved to work at the Dale Roy Training Center in Ashland and could not wait to get out the door every morning. In her spare time, she also enjoyed watching Law & Order, playing solitaire, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her cousins Micheal (Brittany) Wiredu and his children Madison, Gaven, and Trenton Wiredu; and Tiffani Morgan and her daughter Jordan Detillion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Ladine Taylor, and her cousin Cynthia Whittemire. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 1 p.m. in Sandridge Cemetery with Pastor John Temple officiating.
