Description	:	Ida May Miller Beitzel was the 2nd of 4 children born to John J. Miller and Amanda Catherine Fresh Miller on Nov 20, 1892 at Preston Co W.Va. She married George H Beitzel on Oct 25, 1915. They farmed a 150 acre farm in Bittinger, Garrett CO, MD. They were known for their "sugar camp". Every Spring when the sap began to rise in their orchard of sugar maple tees,they would tap sap and boil the sap to make Sugar maple syrup. Ida was a life member of Bethesda Church of the Brethren. They raised 4 children to adulthood in the Brethren church. Ida died in the hospital at Meyersdale, Pa. Ida is buried next to her husband at St Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Accident. She was preceded in death by Randall in 1967, Clayton in 1966, and Richard an infant in 1947. She was survived by 2 children: Earl Beitzel and Alverda Beitzel Beachy.
