Description	:	Ida Myrtle Kesterson was born to Thomas and Maranda Kesterson at Malvern, Iowa on Dec. 6, 1882 and departed this life in Kearney on Sept. 9, 1954 at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 3 days. As a child she moved with her parents and family to Thedford, Nebr. where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Jess Warford on Jan. 1, 1900. Read More	Ida Myrtle Kesterson was born to Thomas and Maranda Kesterson at Malvern, Iowa on Dec. 6, 1882 and departed this life in Kearney on Sept. 9, 1954 at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 3 days. As a child she moved with her parents and family to Thedford, Nebr. where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Jess Warford on Jan. 1, 1900. To this union were born one daughter and three sons. Most of her married life was spent in Nebraska as a pioneer farm wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son, her parents, two brothers, three sisters. In 1930 she moved to Albion where she was united in marriage to Fred Hamblin in 1935. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Fred Hamblin of Kearney, one daughter Mrs. Pearl Nehls, Kearney, one step-daughter Mrs. Paul McNickalas of Yakima, Wash., two sons, Floyd of Kearney and Harold of Ansley, a sister Mrs. Will Cummings of Albion, three brothers, Will Kesterson of Chino, Cal., Sam of Butte City, Cal., John of San Fernando, Cal., 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in Kearney and at the graveside in Albion at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, with Rev. Dinsdale officiating. Burial was in Rosehill cemetery.
