Description	:	KENNEY IDALE (LUND) KENNEY, loving wife of the late Jack Kenney, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2009 in Lethbridge at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her daughter, Jeri (Jim) Wood; daughter-in-law Bette (Kack) Klassen; 2 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Leora, Jane and Ivy Lund. Idale was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 1983 and her sons, Dee, in 1978 and, John Brye, in infancy; her parents, DeLoss and Mary Ellen Lund, and siblings, Manilla, Andy, Art, Clark, Clatie, Crystal, Rozz, Hazel Harry and Ersel. Idale was born on August 19, 1911 in Raymond. Her schooling began at Mammoth School south of Raymond and later attended School in Raymond as well as the Agriculture College. Idale Married Jack Kenney on August 30, 1930 in Raymond and they raised their family with a few years spent in Duchess and Taber. Idale was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life. She was a quilter and especially good cook and baker. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at THER CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Raymond Stake Centre, Raymond, with Elder Gary Garner officiating. Interment in the Temple Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, Lethbridge, AB Printed in the LETHBRIDGE HERALD, AB.
