Description	:	Mrs. John R. Mersch, 52, of Toronto, S. D., and a former Sioux City resident, died Sunday at a Hendricks, Minn., hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Brookings, S. D. A Rosary will be said tonight at the church. Wesselink, was May 5, 1925, at Sheldon, Iowa. She married Mr. Mersch April 22, 1944, at Las Vegas. She lived in Sioux City before moving to Toronto many years ago. Survivors include the widower; a son, John J. of Aurora, S. D.; two daughters, Miss Jeannie of Brookings, S. D., and Mrs. JoAnn Selken of Arlington, S. D.; twin brothers, Danny of Austin, Minn., and Dale of Stillwater, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Darlene Roberge of Davenport, Iowa, and four grandchildren. Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Alvin, Roger, Clyde E., and Fred Mersch, Charles Stephenson, and Charles Miles. Initial services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Thomas More Catholic Church In Brookings, S. D. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
