Mrs. Chapman was born December 7, 1924 in Ohio, the daughter of the late Abram and Harriett (McKinley) Reames. She was married in 1964 to Russell E. Chapman, who preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Chapman retired after a long career as a cook at nursing homes in Ohio. She loved singing for the Lord and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Slaughter; four half sisters, and two step-brothers.
