Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Verne (Ina) Neese, 78, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Philgreen and Rev. Marilyn Buchanan officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. Mrs. Neese, a longtime Webster City resident, died early Monday mourning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where she had been a patient for 28 days. She had been in ill health the past three months. Mrs. Neese, a longtime Webster City resident, died early Monday mourning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where she had been a patient for 28 days. She had been in ill health the past three months. Ina Marie Winter, daughter of William and Ida Van Lone Winter, was born Nov. 17, 1905 at Mason City. She came with her parents to Webster City at the age of seven. she received her education in the Webster City schools. She was united in marriage in 1926 to Jim Berggren and the couple resided in Webster City where they operated the Berggren Electric firm. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1951. On July 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Verne Neese at Albert Lea, Minn., and the couple had lived in Webster City. She had sold the electric firm in 1954 to Jim Brower, but continued to work at the store for several years. She is survived by her husband; one son and one daughter, Don and LaVonne Neese of Cedar Falls and Rodney and Janice Farley of Fullerton, Calif.; four grandchildren, Paul Neese, Chicago, Susan and Tom Neese of Cedar Falls and Mark Farley of LaHambra, Calif.; one brother, Wray Winter, Webster City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Rebekah lodge, and the Women of the Moose, a former officer of the Women's bowling association, and Asbury United Methodist Church.
