She was the daughter of William Henry and Lydia Ann Foster Dyer, born in Davis County on June 4, 1893. She had been a resident of Wapello County most of her life. She married Arthur M. Surviving are one son, Arthur Max Minor of Clinton; five daughters, Mrs. Pauline Lewis, Mrs. Edna DeBurn and Mrs. Lydia Sanford, all of Ottumwa, Mrs. Maxine Bales of Marion, and Mrs. Betty Wessel of Hammond, Ind.; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Joy Dyer of Ottumwa; and three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Amelang of Ottumwa, Mrs. Nora Collier of Davenport and Mrs. Carrie Clark of Bloomfield Route 3. An infant daughter and three brothers also preceded her in death. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel with burial in Shaul Cemetery. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
