Inez Corrine Gedstad was born on May 1, 1926, on a farm southeast of Lennox, the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle (Eichmeier) Gedstad. She grew up attending Gedstad Rural School District 40 and then graduated from Lennox High School in 1944. On April 7, 1947 she was united in marriage to Merlyn Muller at her parental home. Inez Corrine Gedstad was born on May 1, 1926, on a farm southeast of Lennox, the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle (Eichmeier) Gedstad. She grew up attending Gedstad Rural School District 40 and then graduated from Lennox High School in 1944. On April 7, 1947 she was united in marriage to Merlyn Muller at her parental home. The couple lived in Lennox before moving to there farm south of Lennox and near Worthing. Merlyn died on April 30, 2002. Inez was an active and faithful member of West Prairie Lutheran Church where she belonged to WELCA, Women’s Bible Study, quilting group and had taught Sunday school and Bible school. She was a member of the Lennox Senior Citizen’s. She enjoyed sewing, vegetable and flower gardening. She loved the time she spent with her family. Besides her parents and husband, Inez was preceded in death by one son, Douglas in 1989, one brother, Glen Gedstad and one grandson, Jeff Muller. Grateful for having shared her life are her children: Phyllis (Galen) Ganschow, Tea, Greg Muller, Viborg and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Muller, OR; four grandchildren: Amy Mahlstedt, Scott Ganschow, Robert Muller and Steve Ganschow; five great-grandchildren: Alyssa Mahlstedt, Arkasha Muller, Madelyn Ganschow, Joshua Ganschow and Meredith Ganschow as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
