Description	:	Inez Helene Wilson, age 96, of North Platte passed away in her sleep March 30, 2011 at Centennial Park Retirement Village . She was born November 1, 1914 in Sargent, NE the daughter of Clark and Olive Griffith Fenstermacher. Inez attended school in Sargent, graduating Valedictorian of the class of 1933. She attended Chillicothe Business School and after graduating she worked at AT&T for 2 years and then attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln Agriculture College. Read More	Inez Helene Wilson, age 96, of North Platte passed away in her sleep March 30, 2011 at Centennial Park Retirement Village . She was born November 1, 1914 in Sargent, NE the daughter of Clark and Olive Griffith Fenstermacher. Inez attended school in Sargent, graduating Valedictorian of the class of 1933. She attended Chillicothe Business School and after graduating she worked at AT&T for 2 years and then attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln Agriculture College. She then took a job at the Baltimore, MD. Social Security for 2 years before moving to North Platte where she and another lady opened an office for the Social Security in the old post office building. After years of working as a clerk at the Social Security she took a leave of absence to care for her ailing father, while she taught at the Sargent High School until her marriage to Carroll Wilson on December 25, 1945. To this union 2 children were born, Robert and Kathleen. Inez was a long time Judge on the Election Board, Past President of P.E.O., officer of the Eastern Star, life member of the PTA, Hospice Volunteer, assistant Girl Scout leader, member of the knitting club and a member of the First Methodist Church for over 75 years. She and Carroll enjoyed traveling, making three trips abroad, and traveling coast to coast including trips to and visiting friends and relatives. Survivors include her husband, Carroll of North Platte; daughter, Kathleen (Koichi) NaKagawa of Tokyo, Japan; and a son, Robert H. Wilson of Lincoln, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert C. Fenstermacher, M.D. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 4, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Alison Frazier officiating. Burial will be at the Rosehill Cemetery in Callaway. Visitation will be today and Sunday from noon to 6:00 P.M. at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
