Description	:	HASTINGS — Inez R. Lierman, 90, of Hastings died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings with the Rev. Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Elwood Cemetery. She graduated from Elwood High School and married Gilbert W. Lierman on Nov. 8, 1942, at Salem Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2012. They moved to Hastings in 1960 from Lexington. Inez worked at Allen’s in the camera department for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was very active. Inez was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert W. Lierman; and siblings, Richard Debban, Fern Schultz, Bernice Fleischer, Dale Debban, Larry Debban, Roger Debban and Norma Thinnes. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Karen Lierman of Johnson Lake; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Pettinger of Omaha; grandchildren and spouses, Tara and Mike Hassler of Wayne, Garrett Lierman and Josh Park of Philadelphia and Amy and Scott McKenzie, Benjamin and Elizabeth Pettinger, Jessica and Colby Woods and Andrew Pettinger, all of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Abigail McKenzie, David Pettinger and Michael Pettinger; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Meridee Debban of Holdrege; sisters-in-law, Janet Debban of Holdrege and Gwen Debban of Omaha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
