Ira, 73, of Elizabeth, entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Savoy Medical Center. He was born on December 30, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to the union of Orie and Verna Donna Kingan. He was a member of the Six Mile Pentecostal Church, and a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Ira was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. His parents; one brother, Bob Kingan; three sisters, Jackie Moble, Lenora Belle Miller and Alice Sickman precedes him in death. He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 54 years, Lydia Bernice McCollough Kingan of Elizabeth; three sons, Danny Kingan and wife, Rosie of Plainview, Randy Kingan of Elizabeth, and Raymond Kingan and wife, Becky of Port Arthur, Texas; one daughter, Candy Brady of Elizabeth; one sister, Beatrice Schultz of Ithaca, New York; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
