He was born April 13th, 1895 near Rushville, Nebr. He came to Page County, Iowa at three months of age in a covered wagon with his parents. He had lived on his present farm over 60 years. He was born April 13th, 1895 near Rushville, Nebr. He came to Page County, Iowa at three months of age in a covered wagon with his parents. He had lived on his present farm over 60 years. He was married Dec. 24, 1919 to Dicie Anna Davison, who survives. To this union two children were born, Robert Andrew who preceded him in death March 20, 1945 while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany, and Pearl Pauline Edwards of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He had one sister Pearl Cleo Waldroff who passed away in May 1969. He leaves to mourn his death, his loving wife Dicie, one daughter Pearl Pauline Edwards and son-in-law Max, two daughters, Paula Kaye Nicholson and Robin Joy Edwards of Council Bluffs, Iowa, one great grandson, Aaron Yves Nicholson, and a host of friends. He was a lover of his home and his livestock and was very well liked by all who knew him. He attended the Methodist Church at Braddyville and was a great lover of music.
