Mr. and Mrs. Baker have lived in Nebraska City since 1912, prior to that they lived at Hooper, Schuyler, Auburn and Otis, Colo. He was born July 5, 1880, near Wahoo and was married December 24, 1908, at Fremont to Miss Emma Rodgers. Surviving are Mrs. Baker, his mother, Mrs. Carrie Baker; a brother, Frank, and a sister, Mrs. Nettie Upton, all of Madison; another sister, Mrs. Pearl Faes, lives at Sedgwick, Colo. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Karsens Patterson chapel at 2 o'clock with Rev. Walter Jackson of the Methodist church in charge.
