Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel August 4, 1960 Pioneer Resident Dies at Pasadena Mrs. Emma Rodgers Baker died on Tuesday morning at Pasadena, Calif. She is survived by three brothers: Will Rodgers of Hooper; John of Casper,Wyo., and Dick of Pasadena. The three brothers are the only surviving members of a family of 15 children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Rodgers. She is survived by three brothers: Will Rodgers of Hooper; John of Casper,Wyo., and Dick of Pasadena. The three brothers are the only surviving members of a family of 15 children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Rodgers. As pioneers they lived on the farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoegemeyer, and most of the children were born in a dugout there. The family prospered with the community they helped to grow. Mr. Rodgers, last member to live in Hooper, is vice president of the First National Bank. Funeral arrangements are pending, but Mrs. Baker will be laid to rest at Nebraska City, where they lived for some time while Mr. Baker was in business there.
