Description	:	Irene Agnes Dvorak was born on November 15, 1921, on the family farm near Toledo, the daughter of George and Louise (Chaloupek) Wacha. She was married to Milo Dvorak on April 22, 1941. The couple farmed for many years. Irene was also a Garden Aide for Tama County Extension Service and worked at Bun N Cue in Traer. She was married to Milo Dvorak on April 22, 1941. The couple farmed for many years. Irene was also a Garden Aide for Tama County Extension Service and worked at Bun N Cue in Traer. When Milo and Irene retired, they moved to Clutier and then to the Sunrise Assisted Living Suites in Traer. Milo died in 2016, and Irene moved to Sunrise Hill Care Center. Irene enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, tending flowers, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer. Irene passed away at the age of 98 on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Paul Dvorak; and her brothers and sisters, Esther Hlas, Edwin Wacha, Edna Buresh, Marcella Dvorak, Hilda Kucera, George “Bud” Wacha, and Rita Hlas. Irene is survived by a son, David C. (Carol) Dvorak of Lafayette, Colorado; a daughter, Camilla (Marvin) Dostal of Clutier; seven grandchildren, Bobbette Burchfield, Brent (Tina) Dvorak, Carey (Scott) Gooch, Britt Dvorak, Craig (Carrie) Dostal, Brad (Angie) Dostal, and Kevin (Janet) Dostal; 15 great grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Pauline Dvorak of Cedar Rapids, Mary Ann Mathews of Marietta, Georgia, and Mary Dvorak of Cedar Rapids. The visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, from 5 to 8 PM, at St Paul Catholic Church in Traer. There will be a Rosary Service at 4:45 PM, prior to the visitation. The funeral will be on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 10:30 AM, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer. All guests are asked to please follow social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask. The burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery southwest of Clutier.
