Description	:	Funeral services for Irene E. Eisenbraun kapicka, 71, Boise, Idaho, were held Nov. 4 at St. John Lutheran Church in Gregory with rev. Craig Grams officiating. Burial was in the IOOD Cemetery in Gregory. She was born Nov. 7, 1920 on the family farm near Paxton, the daughter of Adolph and Bertha (Steinke) Eisenbraun. The family soon moved south of Colome where she grew up with her two sisters. She was baptised on Jan. 2, 1921 and confirmed in her faith on July 1, 1936 at Zion Lutheran Church south of Dallas. Burial was in the IOOD Cemetery in Gregory. She was born Nov. 7, 1920 on the family farm near Paxton, the daughter of Adolph and Bertha (Steinke) Eisenbraun. The family soon moved south of Colome where she grew up with her two sisters. She was baptised on Jan. 2, 1921 and confirmed in her faith on July 1, 1936 at Zion Lutheran Church south of Dallas. She attended rural school and graduated from Colome High School. She then did domestic work and was employed at Buches. She was married to Bob Kapicka on Jan. 28, 1948 at Gregory. They lived in Martin, where they engaged in farming. In 1963 they moved to Gregory where they worked hard to establish a poultry farm. Their son, Larry, was driving their egg delivery truck in Aug. of 1969 when he was tragically killed in an accident. She then started working for the Gregory school lunch program before moving to Idaho in 1975 to live with her daughter, Marlene. In Idaho she was active in the Lutheran Church, the LWM and did babysitting and house attending for friends in the area. Survivors include her daughter, Marlene, and her husband Terry Cousins of Boise, Idaho; two sisters: Viola Zeller of Gregory and Mavis Svoboda of Dixon; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Larry.
