Description	:	Viola R. Eisenbraun Zeller, daughter of Adolph and Bertha (Steinke) Eisenbraun, was born April 3, 1924 at Paxton, SD. At the age of three, the family moved to a farm southeast of Colome, SD. Viola attended the Grand View country school for eight years and then graduated from Colome High School in 1942. She was baptized and confirmed at the South Dallas Lutheran Church. After graduating, she worked at the bank in Gregory. Eisenbraun Zeller, daughter of Adolph and Bertha (Steinke) Eisenbraun, was born April 3, 1924 at Paxton, SD. At the age of three, the family moved to a farm southeast of Colome, SD. Viola attended the Grand View country school for eight years and then graduated from Colome High School in 1942. She was baptized and confirmed at the South Dallas Lutheran Church. After graduating, she worked at the bank in Gregory. Viola met and then married Reubin Zeller at St. John Lutheran Church in Gregory on December 18, 1944. They made their home on the homestead in Dixon which they purchased and where their family of a daughter, Sharon, and twin sons, Ormal and Orval, were born. Orval did not survive. Viola helped her husband in ranching and farming whenever needed. She was a Sunday school and Bible school teacher at Trinity Lutheran at Dixon where they were members until its closing. Viola served both local and state offices in LWML. Viola loved family gatherings and reunions and watching the granddaughters and great grandchildren grow up. She and her husband liked dancing, camping, boating, fishing, bowling, golf, and traveling. They spent 25 years going south for the winters. They semi-retired in 1975 and fully retired and moved to Gregory in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband Reubin in 2006 after 61 ½ years together, son Ormal, infant son Orval, parents, and sisters Irene Kapicka and Mavis Svoboda.
