Irene married Billy Ray Saile on December 11, 1976. Billy preceded her in death. Irene grew up in the rural Baldwin City area eventually moving to Pomona, KS in 1977 and living there most of her adult life until moving to Baldwin City in 2016. Irene worked for a time at Lawrence Memorial Hospital as well as King Radio in Ottawa, KS. On October 20, 1949 Irene was united in marriage to Albert R. McNish. They later divorced. They had five sons, Robert McNish and his wife Cheryl of Topeka, KS, Dennis McNish of Lawrence, KS, Gary McNish (deceased) and his wife Lynne of Lawrence, KS, Randy McNish of Lawrence, KS, Billy McNish of rural Baldwin City; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Irene married Billy Ray Saile on December 11, 1976. Billy preceded her in death on March 13, 2009. They were married for thirty-two happy years. Irene is survived by two sisters as well as her children and grandchildren, Edith Sumner of Bakersfield, Ca and Mary Roesler of Baldwin City. Private interment will take place at Vinland Cemetery, Vinland, KS. Memorials may be made out to Vinland Cemetery sent in c/o Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
