On Feb.23,1938 she married Russell Rubenbauer in Mount Pleasant and they farmed near the LeGrand and Dillon areas. She was a member of the Dillon Trinity Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Literary Musical Club of LeGrand, ACT Club of LeGrand, Quaker Lane Club and the Dillon Social Club. Survivors include a son, Mark, rural Marshalltown; a daughter Mary(Mrs. Jared) Walter, Liberty, Mo.; five grandchildren; seven great grand-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Edwards, Crownsville, Md., Dorothy Lauer, Mount Pleasant, and LaVonda Dunham, River View, Fla.; a brother, Robert Miller, Citrus Heights, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 26, 1979. Marshalltown Times Republican August 28th or 29th, 1991
